The Birth of the Great Adventure

The great idea to sail around the World was born on Sunday, 20th of June 2010.
That was a sunny day of early summer, when todays Star-Pioneers, Teet and Sirje, sailed together from Haapsalu to Tallinn. The brand new downwind sail was taken up and  in the sun, all layers seemed to be too warm. Perhaps it felt like in heaven - so both wanted to last it longer.  Was enough for Sirje only to mention "Let´s sail around the World!" and Teet got addicted in the very same minute and only  few minutes later they already found themselves  developing a totally crazy idea.
Returned home, there was a little time spent in the Internet, finding what kind of trip exactly  qualifies as travel around the world... Now they know: as the world circum- navigation qualifies  a trip that crosses all meridians and the equator, begins and ends in the same marina.
Without any pledge  the decision was made - sooner or later  the Great Adventure will come truth.
